On the 31st of May 2013, a briefing to Romanian entities will take place in the Aerospace Conference Center - National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” - INCAS Iuliu Maniu Bld., no. 220, District 6, 061126, Bucharest. The briefing will present the 2nd Call for Outline Proposals and Romanian entities will have the possibility to pose questions to ESA staff directly involved in the Call. The Call will be published in EMITS (http://emits.esa.int) this week.

The European Space Agency (ESA) inaugurates a Near-Earth Object Coordination Centre at ESRIN (Frascati, Italy) on 22 May 2013. This is the second centre to be opened under the Agency’s Space Situational Awareness (SSA) programme after the Space Weather Coordination Centre that was inaugurated in Brussels last month. The Near-Earth Object Coordination Centre (NEO-CC) of ESA will serve as the central access point to a network of European NEO data sources and information providers being established under ESA’s SSA Programme.
