Briefing on the 2nd Call for Outline Proposals under the European Space Agency’s Romania Industry Incentive Scheme

On the 31st of May 2013, a briefing to Romanian entities will take place in the Aerospace Conference Center - National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” - INCAS Iuliu Maniu Bld., no. 220, District 6, 061126, Bucharest. The briefing will present the 2nd Call for Outline Proposals and Romanian entities will have the possibility to pose questions to ESA staff directly involved in the Call. The Call will be published in EMITS (http://emits.esa.int) this week.

The Call is addressed only to Romanian entities and covers:

a) Flight Hardware activities with preference for those related to launcher or satellite platform technologies and sensors or to generic technologies with potential for re-use;

b) Research and development activities (including industrial processes) leading to products (hardware or software) or to generic technologies with potential for re-use;

c) Mission related services, applications (including demonstration activities) or technology demonstrations;

d) Preparatory activities (paper studies, e.g. feasibility studies, user requirements or market surveys) to support national competitiveness in ESA programmes (optional and mandatory).

8:30 - 9:00 Registration

9:00 - 9:20 Welcome

9:20 -10:50 Presentation on the 2nd Call for Outline Proposals

10:50-12:00 Questions & Answers

12:00-15:00 One-on-one consultation (exclusively for confidential matters that can not be raised in the general session of Q&A)

After 12:00 and until 15:00, for interested entities, there is the possibility to have 10 minute one-on-one consultation sessions with ESA staff concerning general or legal contractual issues (parallel sessions) related to the Call. Registration for these sessions can be done during the coffee break.
