Through GSTP 6 (General Support Tehcnology Programme), Romania benefits from the support of the European Space Agency in implementing national research projects, which are evaluated, procured, monitored and acknoledged by ESA.

In this respect, ROSA's major objective in its relations with ESA is to guarantee the quality and efficiency of its projects in alignment with ESA standards. A major benefit of this colaboration is represented by the intellectual property rights, which belong to Romania, more exactly to the implementing organizations. As a result, GSTP 6 not only guarantees a quality output, but also offers Romania the opportunity to develop its research and technology as a whole, thus offering the Romanian research community an attractive and advantageous working environment.
