Aerospace 2003 - STATUS AND PERSPECTIVES

Aeronautics Program - Objectives

  • Participation in international space missions on exploration and use of outer space;
  • To research and obtain theoretical experimental and computational models of specific circum-earth environment, solar system, Universe and the interactions between them phenomena, based on experimental results and observational missions;
  • To research behavior of materials and biological systems in space and microgravity conditions;
  • The development and integration of the satellite Earth observation, navigation, global positioning and communication applications in telemedicine, precision agriculture, natural disaster monitoring, global information systems;
  • The development of a microsatellite scientific and operational missio ;
  • Studies on the strategy, management and space infrastructure;
  • Research and development of sensors, systems and equipment onboard and ashore, spin-off developing of spatial outcomes;
  • Advanced methods and techniques of simulation, command and control, design and manufacturing of aircraft aviation, aerospace and space;
  • Unmanned aircraft;
  • Aerospace and space technologies, systems, tools and equipment;
  • Development and diversification of products and applications of space, aerospace and aviation technologies;
  • Specific activities under the government agreements with the European Space Agency, NASA and other relevant international intergovernmental bodies:
