ESA Briefing for Romanian Institutions: Agenda

Briefing to Romanian entities on the 1st Call for Outline Proposals under the European Space Agency’s Romania Industry Incentive Scheme

On the 5th of June 2012, a briefing to Romanian entities on the 1st Call for Outline Proposals under the European Space Agency’s Romania Industry Incentive Scheme will take place in the Aerospace Conference Center - National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” – INCAS, Iuliu Maniu Bld., no. 220, 061126, Bucharest.

The briefing will present the 1st Call for Outline Proposals and Romanian entities will have the possibility to pose questions to ESA staff directly involved in the Call.

The Call was published in EMITS (http://emits.esa.int) on the 29th of May, 2012.

The Call is addressed only to Romanian entities and covers:

  • Flight Hardware activities with preference for those related to launcher or satellite platform technologies and sensors or to generic technologies with potential for re-use;
  • Research and development activities (including industrial processes) leading to products (hardware or software) or to generic technologies with potential for re-use;
  • Mission related services, applications (including demonstration activities) or technology demonstrations;
  • Preparatory activities (paper studies, e.g. feasibility studies, user requirements or market surveys) to support national competitiveness in ESA programmes (optional and mandatory).

The agenda of the Briefing is as follows:

  • 8:30 - 9:00 Registration
  • 9:00 - 9:20 Welcome (Marius-Ioan Piso, ROSA)
  • 9:20 -10:50 Presentation on the 1st Call for Outline Proposals (Pedro Baptista, ESA)
  • 10:50-12:00 Questions & Answers (ESA, ROSA)
  • 12:00-15:00 One-on-one consultation (10 minutes one-on-one consultation sessions with ESA staff concerning general or legal contractual issues related to the Call, exclusively for confidential matters that can not be raised in the general session of Q&A)
