The objective of this activity is to carry out the conceptual design of an on-orbit manufactured and assembled large-parabolic-antenna reflector(s) and corresponding feed (the feed can be manufactured and assembled on-orbit or manufactured on-ground), with a focus on manufacturing process, interfaces, inspection, calibration and test approaches as well as on the associated on-orbit robotic capabilities required. In order to achieve the main objective of the activity, the following work logic is proposed:- The objectiveoftask1 is to define the large antenna reflector design requirements for different study cases and space applications (depending on commonalities and differences of the requirements for the different applications).- The objective of task2 is to identify and trade-off of suitable on-orbit manufacturing processes and materials including the derivation of the relevant requirements for on-orbitrobotics capabilities, the relevant requirements of I/F for on-orbit assembly and the relevant requirements for inspection, calibrationand tests in order to meet the antenna reflector(s) requirements.- The objective of task3 is to define of a conceptual design of the antenna reflector(s) based on the selected manufacturing process, interfaces, inspections, calibrations, tests and associatedrobotic capabilities.- The objective of task4 is to establish a technology roadmap.
