The objective is to improve the algorithms in the Spacecraft Plasma Interaction System that can be used to model the interaction ofelectrical engines with a spacecraft. In particular the details of the collection of the plume plasma by the interconnectors on solar array will be more accurately modelled. There is also a need to combine fluid and kinetic model to properly model the plume plasma expansion including secondary backflow and contamination with reasonable computing power requirements and to model multi-plume interactions and cathode plume interactions. Procurement Policy: C(2) = A relevant participation (in terms of quality and quantity) ofnon-primes (incl. SMEs) is required.
