Drop your Thesis! 2019 open for proposals

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) is inviting university students interested in conducting experiments in the field of microgravity to apply for the 2019 edition of the programme Drop your Thesis!, organised by the Education Office of the European Space Agency (ESA). The deadline for submitting proposals is 4 November 2018 (00:59, local time in Romania).

The Drop Your Thesis! programme is run by ESA’s Education Office and is looking to sponsor teams of four (or more) university students from ESA Member States (including Romania) who have an experiment in mind that requires microgravity.

The chosen experiments will be conducted in October 2019 at the 146m high ZARM Drop Tower Facility in Bremen, Germany.

Those wishing to participate in this program are invited to read the ‘how to apply’ online. Eligibility criteria includes: being aged between 18 and 32 years old, being a full-time student in a university of an ESA Member or Associate State, studying a scientific or engineering subject.
